      The fights are very detailed and very epik(and sometimes very confusing but that's more at the end) Also, are you talking about Klein's power progression or character progression?

    Read till Vol 6, the novel was never boring after volume 1 but it was also never too hyped. I jump out of my chair and scream inside when some big twist happens or some big reveal but I didn't get anything like that. Not even at the end of vol 1.(Except when Amon appeared).

        He might just want something straightforward, like an epic moment of killing the villain and then happiness, end of story. But in LoTM, we rarely get that. There's always some heavy loss that steals away the happiness, lol.

      I kinda understand, CF never gives us a straightforward ending that leaves readers feeling excited and joyful. He always gives a bittersweet ending, Klein always take an L and rarely achieves complete victory.
