Maybe plagiarism is a stretch, but the general setting (a god somehow gets fragmented in several pieces that become smaller gods, still with immense power, and spread throughout the cosmos) is the same in both. That’s why I said Cuttlefish really had to take more than simple inspiration from Brandon Sanderson in that, but maybe it just is more common than I thought. There are perfectly structured power systems (one for each saga, since they take place in different planets), that leave no space for Plot Armor, and mind boggling plot twists that are cooked since the beginning of the book, which you won’t notice until it happens, just like in LotM. “Subtlety” defines the antagonists. Regarding the characters, you can read my other comment. Both stories are very similar and if you were already eyeing them you should definitely buy the books. Also i find it much better reading a published book than a webnovel, pathing does wonders. You can also find them for free on the internet. Enjoy. :P

The characters are deeply traumatized and yet they hold onto their humanity and keep going. Just like Klein, even when everyone and everything is against you, selfishness and being good prevails. For the antagonists, in both sagas they do heavy plotting behind the scenes. You may have some guesses while reading, but you’ll never know what were they doing, what where they influencing from behind the stage until they actually show up (and maybe explain it). The author excels at plot twists in that sense, so if you enjoy reading Adam shenanigans you’ll definitely enjoy this books. Lastly, there is a character that i’d describe as the joker of a deck, with funny yet mysterious interactions and unknown purposes. That’s also how i see Amon, but they aren’t quite same. Sadly, he barely shows up despite being one of if not the most interesting character. I’m personally still on the third book of The Stormlight Archive so i can’t speak of what comes next but the first ones are insanely good.
