    I took this from a reddit i saw amd i want opinions on this considering i also dislike nephis for this reason and i am trying to like her better(i have not read the novel yet myself)"nephis is a lacklustre character that just overshadows Sunny. The essence of Nephis’ character just seems to be the author’s attempt to make Sunny a more interesting and distinct character by establishing this sense of typical MC vs true MC parallel, and giving Nephis the poster MC persona. In doing so, she has literally no substance beyond being a blank convicted character with a protagonist sob story. Nephis’ entire character is built around being an idealised protagonist. It’s like a dampened version of the parallel in those web novels where the narrator gets put into a story and faces the protagonist of the book.         One LB Mole rat meat - As I said, I used a pound of lean ground beef.
