Ah, I waited so long, I mean, at some moments, I write something in my own mind rather than what the author wrote, and I make the characters say the things I want them to say in my head, this is my way of satisfying myself. Anyway, the novel impressed me a lot, so I started it because of the webtoon and I was really attached to Kim Hajin. . I liked that Hajin was a character who was sure of her own emotions, and I also liked the variety of characters. Like other readers, I did not like the ending.

Its a good novel but not really great for me because even if i like misunderstandings i don't like repetitive one were all the mc relationships is based on misunderstandings , in TOTCF i got tired of the repetitive misunderstandings in 500 chapter but here in novel extra i already got tired of it in 100 chapter because all the misunderstandings is based on the mc lazy communication with people , and the other reason why i dropped is because it has a really predictable ending because its korean novel were all ending is very bad so i wouldn't be able to enjoy the journey or the destination so i will drop it . . . For first timer in korean novel and misunderstanding trope give this novel a try it will be really great for you

I started reading this novel because of the manhwa and quite liked the story. I think the beginning and middle of the story are very good but towards the end the quality starts to decline. When I first read the ending I felt annoyed but when I tried it the second time I started to accept it. The only thing I regret about this novel is why the author didn't let Hajin reveal who he really is? Wouldn't it be cool if he suddenly appeared in a black lotus robe? So for that reason the story gets a 7. 5/10 rating from me, thank you :)

Overall the story was extremely well written and it looked like the author put a lot of life into the characters they created. Throughout the novel, the story always encouraged me to continue reading, but I would say that stopped near the ending. The last few chapters were extremely confusing and put a lot of unnecessary information. I skimmed through most of the ending but I would say it is satisfactory at best. For people thinking about reading this, I would say do it. The beginning and middle are extremely good and if you don't feel like reading more, you can just drop it there. Even while it's dropped, it will probably be a memorable novel. Characters: 10/10 World Building: 8/10 Plot: 6/10 (Ending kinda ruined the score) My rating: 8/10

Honestly its really great novel with great plot and characters, I love the fights and especially his boss. Ending was a bit of but still good. I have several complaints like unnecessary drama and misunderstanding And the mc babysitting the novels protagonist it makes me feel a bit Annoying. Still great novel and highly recommend. 8/10

My rating: 6. 9/10 Opinion: Great read (5/10 is my average for all literature and most webnovels on this site get only a 4/10 or less) but the ending is bad and some of the character writing is meh. Comments: Well written and the characters have some depth. World-building is nothing special, but relatively good. Definitely not perfect writing and especially after re-reading I can spot some glaring flaws. I highly disliked the ending and that easily subtracted more than a whole point from my rating. I also feel like Kim Hajin is an *ssh*l* at times but the author tries to make it seem like he isn't (maybe 'cause they are projecting through writing a self-instert?) and that makes me unable to empathize with him. My final gripe with the series is that Chae Nayoon was done so dirty the whole story and her suffering wasn't written very well in my opinion (though it does a great job at making me empathize with her).

Yeah last part kinda hit hard. Nayun spent 80% of the novel looking for him only to forget him and get hard ignored. Wish the author could tie up this loose end (might have been done in the epilogue but didnt read that).

Yes, this contains spoilers, as per tagged, so do whatever you want with this information. Anyway, before I begin, let me just say: this whole novel is a f*ck*ng banger and you definitely won’t regret reading it unless you’re a clown with no taste. You’ll probably regret reading this review though. Half of it is just yappery. Characterization and character development? While some of the characters are quite “one-dimensional” with only a plain, shallow motive up their sleeve (looking at how Yi Yeonjun was described; a straight-up evil villain. Regardless, he definitely piqued my interest and I personally believe there’s more to him than just that. ) I do think that the way the main characters are all written is just so beautiful. They all have unique, distinctive personalities, characteristics, traits and habits, and it’s endearing in their own way. They do have flaws— and they’re not written picturesque-perfect, but even so, these flaws add to their character and make them much more. Albeit sometimes, the writing might just be a bit lacking— a touch away from something— as if it could be executed better; I still do think the author could’ve found a way to do the main characters more justice (Kim Suho and Shin Jonghak in particular), from time to time, and perhaps they would’ve been developed better had their interactions with Kim Hajin be more, prominent, I guess? Regardless, I’ve found to enjoy these flaws and in its own twisted way; it gives a touch of realism, for a lack of better words. Perhaps I’ve been setting the bar too high, seeing as I’ve read novels among ORV (the character development in there is just so f*ck*ng good???) and played games like HI3 (you can’t tell me Elysia’s writing isn’t peak), but as I’ve said, I just have a nagging feeling they could’ve been written better. I mean, Kim Suho? Even though he’s Kim Hajin’s main character, we barely get to see his interactions, but perhaps it’s for the better? Feel like half the readers would’ve dropped it if their “bromance” shoved in their faces any more (can it be even called bromance anymore?? They’re just so f*ck*ng gay from what I’ve seen of their little interactions to the point I’d believe it if someone said they were in love with each other had I not known Boss was endgame ((coping. )) Anyway, I do get like most of the male cast gets hidden in the dark by the other female characters, like Aileen— a f*ck*ng side character—probably had more screentime than Kim Suho and Shin Jonghak combined or something LMAO 😭 Again, though, the characters mostly stick to one-or-two typical stereotypes on the surface, and I’d wish author’d actually delve a bit deeper. Like, Kim Suho? All about justice with attractive looks to boost. Also, quite literally OP. Cheok Jungyeong? Brash guy— all brawn and no brains. Surprisingly soft, I guess. Chae Nayun? Emotional rollercoaster. Actually, perhaps I shouldn’t have included her. She’s definitely complex. Well, despite my complaints so far, I really am genuine about how beautiful and well-written these characters are. Everyone has their ways to interpret characters, but I feel like this novel really evoked a lot of passion and emotions out of these said silly characters, along with the mental breakdowns and whatnot it’s induced on me. Plot development? Not sure how to describe this. While I really enjoyed the storyline; I do think most of it progresses in a natural narrative— not too fast- nor too short-paced, all the while actually having plot behind it, there’s just some holes here and there that could’ve been resolved more logically. Also, very aggravated about the ending. I feel like it was kind of rushed, sh*tty and forced with a moreover lack of plotline behind it, I guess. Well, I wouldn’t quite say that it was sh*tty in the “this is the worst piece of h*rs*sh*t I’ve ever read, ” but it’s definitely frustrating, alright, or at least for me. Maybe some others were perfectly pleased with the ending. But, really? That meeting with the co-author? And those f*ck*ng decisions?? I definitely feel like it could’ve gone so much better. And taking away Hajin’s everything was absolutely sh*tty— in the “this os the worst piece of h*rs*sh*t I’ve ever read, ” way, plus the frustrating part too. I don’t really want to say much about this. Just that it could’ve gone better. I guess it’s kinda harsh to criticise without explaining why, but if you read it yourself, I’d hope one would understand. Also, again, really annoying that author made Kim f*ck*ng Suho forget about Kim Hajin? Like, really??? The excuse that “he had nothing to do with Kim Chundong, ” is, all in all, quite literally just f*ck*ng lacklustre. You don’t see Rachel, Yoo Yeonha or Droon having sh*t to do with it— unless I missed something— but look at them? They all remembered, and Chae Nayun barely has anything to do with “that incident” either. At the very least, it wasn’t something personal, but rather because of her grandfather. Maybe it could’ve been said for Yoo Yeonha as well, but the way they solved it was kinda maddening— and again, frustrating, unless I’m missing something… But, I suppose that ending was kind of bittersweet in its own way, though. Pacing? Uh, no opinion for this one because I’m not sure how to describe it. I know I said it wasn’t too fast- nor too slow-paced, but like… at the very end, I feel like it got kind of rushed. Not much to say about this aspect to be honest. Stereotypes and troupes? Well, as I mentioned prior, some of the characters are kind of one-dimensional and stereotypical, but beyond that, the writing for some of these characters are done really well. Examples of stereotypical characters are: Kim Suho, whom I’d already mentioned, along with Cheok Jungyeong. Look, I personally love Kim Suho (is it apparent from half of this review being about him???) but the way he was written is just like “justice guy who has a tragic backstory. ” which exasperates me to no end, Aileen, whose personality kinda just revolves around being called a dwarf because of her height, being easily bribed and being OP as hell. Kind of a mix of being a shortie and a genius. This is more of a personal interpretation based on how the author wrote her, which was kinda shallow… And Evandel: Hajin’s kid. A genius. Very innocent and cute. But kinda stereotypical, Yoo Yeonha, who graduated from the academy of misunderstandings. Should just change her nickname from Queen of Seoul to Queen of Misunderstandings from now on (this is a joke— theres more to her character, don’t come at me. ) All in all? Despite my yappery, despite my complaints, this really is such a good f*ck*ng novel and easily deserves a five star. Probably said this a dozen times already, but I really love the passion, emotions and feelings it evokes. Such a peak novel. And, well… some might hate on the latter arcs, which in a way, is understandable, but I really like the depth of everything. It’s tje way the world doesn’t just revolve around Kim Hajin— how Kim Hajin isn’t the “strongest” and would actually need these people— for they are important, not only to the plot but also to Kim Hajin himself— how Kim Hajin has actual, real human emotions, feels guilt and sadness and happiness and every-f*ck*ng-thing and values all of his friends, it’s just… I don’t know how to describe it. I mean, I laughed and I cried and I was scared for all of these characters throughout this story while reading. It definitely left an impact on me. It’s in the fact that you just see everyone grow, and not just in Kim Hajin’s POV— which is why I like the multi-POV I guess. It’s really enjoyable to see everyone’s growth. Agh I don’t know????? This was such a f*ck*ng ramble rather than anything else

I agree with everything in this except about Kim Suho not being included enough and having less screentime. The whole point of the story is to focus on Hajin's novel from HIS perspective, not about Suho, and the plot is created in a way where characters like Aileen are more prominent to Hajin's journey. Idk if its a gender thing but to me, it looks like its due to the strength levels. Early in the story, Suho and the others are important due to their strength, but are later replaced by the Chameleon Troupe as the power level rises. Everything else seems pretty accurate tho.

This story manages the transmigration part well. Although there are many love interests, the author skillfully avoids the harem troupe by dividing them into many alternate endings. However, my favourite will still be the original as it has the most completed buildups. The alternate endings are not rushed at all either. Instead, there are hints of it throughout the original story. Even as the author focused on only one love interest at that time. There are no love triangles which I highly appreciate. I also felt that Hajin's overpoweredness could be written better.
